MACEDON, Koinon of Macedon. temp. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (25mm, 13.32 g, 8h). Beroea mint. Head of Alexander the Great right, wearing lion skin / Two tetrastyle temples, seen in perspective. Cf. AMNG III 4 (Beroea). Dark brown patina, areas of pitting and die rust. Near VF. Very rare.
